Good Family And Friends
Since I am finally caught up at work after 3 hellish weeks, I have managed to sit down and read a few news stories online. I found this one, about being paid quite handsomely to live on a tropical island near the Great Barrier Reef for six months. After reading it, I sent this email out to my brothers, sister, and some select friends:
"I think I will apply for this job.

To which, I received these replies:
First, from the Steph, my beloved sister,
"PLEASE DO. Let me know if you need any help with your application. Or getting a passport. Anything I can do to help get you out of the
coun--*ahem*, I mean, get you the job of your dreams."
Next, from my older brother,
"Don't listen to steph. I mean, your her "other" nameless brother anyway. She doesn't even really know who sent the email. Follow your dreams, little man! (It's the only way you'll end up emotionally crushed and curled up crying in a ball on the floor for us all to see!)"
And, last, from one of my best friends, Joe (who you might notice is nice enough to not wait until he gets home, but instead uses his iPhone to pour it on),
"I can't believe that Larry couldn't figure out that we faked that story just for him to apply, win and head 1/2 a world away from most of us!! Did he read the fine print that the $105,000 is payable over 105,000 years and is subject to taxes leaving him making $0.50 per year?
Congrats to Larry, but mostly congrats to us!!
Joe.
Sent from my iPhone"
Can you feel the love?

There is no way to say this without you thinking that I'm also making fun. So take this as you will.
Think about it this way. It would be six months without anyone poking fun at you and everyone being intensely jealous of you.
Dude. Maybe I'LL apply.
